JS-8 arrester discharge counter for 10KV-110KV high voltage arrester discharge counting

         A surge arrester discharge counter is a high-voltage electrical device used to monitor the number of discharges of a surge arrester. It consists of nonlinear resistors, electromagnetic counters, and some electronic components. Under normal operating voltage, the leakage current through the counter is very small, and the counter does not operate. When the surge arrester passes through lightning waves, operational waves, and power frequency overvoltages, a strong working current flows through the nonlinear resistor of the counter, which is then converted to DC and discharged to the electromagnetic coil, causing the counter to actuate once, thus measuring the number of times the surge arrester has operated. Structurally, it uses voltage extraction by resistor plates, electromagnetic coil action, counter display, transparent glass cover, sealed rubber gasket, base plate, and flange for clamping and sealing, with the high-voltage output terminal led out from the center of the base plate.

Product Features:
1. Utilizes a novel and unique integrated structure design, which is compact, has excellent sealing performance, and ensures stable and reliable operation.
2. Employs aluminum-magnesium alloy die-casting casing, which is aesthetically pleasing, robust, resistant to corrosion and vibration, easy to transport and install, and has a long service life.
3. Equipped with a three-position (two-position or five-position) electromagnetic counter, which automatically resets to zero upon reaching full scale, allowing for continuous counting without the need for manual reset.
4. Current measurement uses a specially designed nonlinear scale milliamp meter, which offers clear readings, high resolution for small currents, and good vibration resistance.
5. The specially designed milliamp meter uses color-coded scales to indicate the operating range of the surge arrester leakage current, making it easier to determine the operating status of the surge arrester.
6. Features a fault alarm system; when the surge arrester leakage current exceeds the set value, it can automatically issue an alarm signal, which alternates between red and green flashing lights, aligning with human visual physiological characteristics, thereby enhancing early warning capabilities.

Usage conditions:

1. Indoor use;

2. Environmental temperature range from -40°C to +60°C;

3. System frequency: 50Hz, 60Hz;

4. Altitude not exceeding 2000 meters;

5. Areas with seismic intensity below 8 degrees;

6. Locations without severe pollution or corrosive media in the atmosphere.
