LXQ-III-35KV high-voltage cabinet voltage transformer neutral point harmonic suppression resistor

             Neutral point detuning resistors can be used to eliminate current peaks generated in resonant circuits and reduce overvoltage levels, ensuring voltage stability and safe operation of equipment. They mainly work by adding resistance to the resonant circuit to adjust the resonant frequency, avoiding equipment damage caused by resonance and preventing interference caused by resonance. Neutral point detuning resistors are typically used at the neutral point of three-phase transformers, serving as potential equalizers for resonant capacitor neutral points, thus extending the transformer's lifespan and improving the stability and reliability of the power grid.

           The purpose of a harmonic suppressor is to prevent ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage in electromagnetic voltage transformers (referred to as PT) in 6~35kV neutral ungrounded power grids. This overvoltage can occur when the busbar is unloaded or has few outgoing lines due to reasons such as closing charging or the elimination of grounding faults during operation. It may cause unstable ground voltage, incorrect grounding indication, and blowing of high-voltage fuses in the PT. In severe cases, it can lead to the burning of the PT and trigger other accidents. In such situations, a harmonic suppressor needs to be installed.

Product features:
1. Eliminates or dampens ferromagnetic resonance caused by voltage transformers, preventing insulation breakdown and discharge inside and outside the voltage transformers;
2. Limits the overcurrent flowing through the transformer windings during single-phase grounding or arc grounding, avoiding the burning of voltage transformers;
3. Compact size, lightweight, easy to install and flexible.
